In this workshop, participants will be able to learn:

  • In Part 2 of our Race & Identity workshop, we will lead a session that will provide you with tools to prevent various types of biases. Participants will also understand:
    • How we can recognize privilege, bias, and microaggressions and correct ourselves and our peers
    • How to correctly hold peers and ourselves accountable and the language to use in certain situations
    • How to respond when someone holds them accountable for their actions 
    • How we can practice self-reflection and mindfulness to prevent microaggressions and bias 
    • Resources to continue to develop consciousness
