In this workshop, participants will be able to learn:
- Understand the most common types of bias in the workplace by name, definition, and examples
- Go through a series of verbal scenarios and have to choose the type of bias they believe is present via multiple-choice questions
- The team will discuss each scenario and the results
- Will be provided with alternative language and/or solutions combatting each bias
- Leave with an understanding of how to prevent bias from interrupting business and personal interactions and how to hold others accountable for their bias and actions
